REPORTS TO:Wardrobe Supervisor

SUMMARY:

Provide efficient and friendly service to address all employees' Wardrobe needs including but not limited to fitting new hires, transfers, and current employees, clerical functions, inventory functions, and sewing functions which include mending, sewing, and altering employee uniforms as required.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


* Processes new employee uniforms by measuring employees and altering garments to fit

* Provides all sewing, altering and mending for employee uniforms as needed

* Operates and maintains sewing equipment

* Distributes uniforms to employees

* Assist employees with uniform exchange and return

* Collect and inspect uniforms from terminated or transferred employees

* Scan and restock uniforms

* Prepare soiled uniforms for laundry pick-up

* Inspect and sort all clean uniforms

* Issue and collect aprons and accessories

* Record sales of items on transaction slips and employee's department as required, complete associated reports at the end of shift

* Complete loan slips for borrowed uniforms or accessories

* Complete new hire and termination paperwork and issue lockers

* Conduct inventory of uniforms and notifies Supervisor when inventory stock is low and any discrepancies

* Adheres to regulatory, departmental, and company policies in an ethical manner and encourages others to do the same

* Other duties as assigned

Requirements

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:

Required

* High school diploma or equivalent

* Must be able to communicate in a positive and friendly manner

* Professional appearance as outlined in the Prairie Band Casino & Resort Employee Handbook

* Must be able to work both independently and as a member of a team

* Minimum of one year sewing experience

* Basic computer and data entry skills

* A record of satisfactory performance and reliability in all prior and current employment

PHYSICAL, MENTAL, AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:

* Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations

* Must be able to bend, reach, kneel and grip items while working at an assigned area

* Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues

* Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English

* Must be able to meet the level two or light work requirements based on the Department of Labor Dictionary of Titles: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently
